Each 0.6 ml Multisina drops contains - Vitamin A BP 4 mg, Vitamin D BP 0.05 mg, Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid) BP 60 mg, Thiamine Hydrochloride (Vit. B1) BP 1.00 mg, Riboflavin 5-Phosphate Sodium (Vit. B2) BP 1.71 mg, Nicotinamide BP 5.00 mg, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vit. B6) BP 1.25 mg

Multisina drops is a balanced combination of multivitamins, essential for health and normal growth of neonates and infants. Although these vitamins occur naturally in various food, neonates and infants are often prone to vitamin deficiencies specially due to inadequate food intake and malnutrition. Also many newborns after birth require additional vitamin supplements. Multisina drops can adequately meet vitamin requirements of neonates and infants.

Multisina Drops is indicated in - i. Deficiency conditions due to various vitamins and adequate nutrients in neonates and infants. ii. Night blindness in children. iii. For normal body growth of children. iv. During Antibiotic, Sulfonamide and Isoniazid therapy as adjunct

Under 1 year: 0.3 ml once daily 1 year and above: 0.6 ml once daily or as directed by the physician. (Multisina drops can be feed with milk, fruit juice and with other paediatric foods)

Supplemental vitamins should not be prescribed for patients with haemochromatosis or Wilson's disease. Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients is contraindicated. Excessive doses of vitamin A and D can lead to hypervitaminosis. When multivitamin preparations are prescribed allowance must be made for vitamins from other sources.

Long term use of multivitamin may cause hypervitaminosis of vitamin A and Vitamin D; such as: dryness of skin, painful joint, vomiting etc. may occur; but these symptoms disappear with discontinuation of the vitamin therapy.

Multivitamin preparation with ordinary doses of component are usually nontoxic.

Vitamins present in Multisina are safe for pregnant and nursing mothers. However, Multisina is formulated only for paediatric patients.
